Well I was originally going to title this blog "Balls in the air" - and post about the juggling act I've been doing this past week, to keep all my balls in the air - so to speak ....It really has been quite the juggling act to keep things going around here this last week, what with school starting, our house guest ataying with us, and a celebration of 120 years at a local church where many realatives, on both mine and my husband's family, have attended. This brought out many famuly members, some of which also stopped by to visit. BUT....
Yep you guessed it! my lap-top from Hell has struck again! - and this time, I got the "blue screen of death"! - So...that is why or shall I say yet another reason why, you haven't seen me around here for the last couple of days....
So I'm here at my folks posting soemthing quick, so that I could let those who check out my blog, know where I am and why you all haven't seen me.
So, I hope everyone is doing well, and I hope to be able to get back on here soon and clog up the tblurt once again, with fun and nonsence!

Hello all!
Well I haven't been on as much as I'd like these last couple of days - my hubby's Uncle was due in town to stay with us a week - He made it safe and sound and is here now. :) - Been cleanng like mad getting ready - no rest for the weary.
Also went to school yesterday after the Labor Day weekend break, and wore my fah-reakin flip flops!
SO THERE! HA-HA! 
Well, I'm nt sure how often I'll be able to get one here being that when my hubby's Uncle is a missionary, and when he is here, he needs use of the phone to reach the different churches he will be visiting while he is here - we have dial-up, so you can see why I need to keep the lines clear - but I'll try to get on when I can. If you don't hear from me all week, and I start to go through tblog withdrawl - please send someone to come and get me!
Oh - and by the way - September 19th is PIRATE DAY - where you HAVE to talk like a Pirate on that day - *no joke*! - So that means....PAR-TAY HERE ON MY BLOG ON SEPT. 19th! - be there - or walk the plank! ;) Arrrrrrrrrr! :D

Well, tomorrow, here in the U. S., It is Labor Day! - With it comes the last hurrah of Summer get togethers, compleate with cookouts! Hot dogs, Hamburgers, Cole slaw, and the ubiquitus, Pork-n'-beans.
So in honor of this Summer treat, raise your forks and sing with me, the national pork-n'-beans song.....Come on - YOU know the words...

Ok...........well...........it's done! YAYYAYAYAY! ...well for the mot part it's done - I still have to pull off the blue tape, but I'll wait till tomorrow after it's good and dry, and so just in case any touch-ups are needed WOOOOOOOO HOOOOO!
OH, Hey! I got a new paintbrush! - It's a Pirate Paintbrush! - Wadda ya guys think?!?  Awe come onnnnn! Stop rollin' your eyes now......................................I HAD to!

Weeelllllllllll.........I managed not to stub my toe this time, but I did clock my knee :S - There's alot of stuff I had to move aside, including the bed, to get to the one wall I'm painting, soooo, I have to wade through to get to the wall, now that everything is pushed away from it. So, let's see...I got eveything taped up with that blue tape - (I LOVE that stuff!) - had to go out and get more actually, cause we didn't have anymore. Hubby had some of that tape that they use for painting a fine detail lines on a car, (he used to be an autobody man), so I tried that tape when I first ran out of the blue tape. He thought it would work, and not pull off any old paint on the other wall - but - it did :( So - Off to the store I went. We have a local hardware place right near us, so it was a quick trip - well quick that is, untill I get into the store....I LOVE those places! So many cool gizmos and gadgets AND I got some more paint in a color I needed, in the bin where they have the paint that no ne wants - you know, the color didn't come out quite right, so they can't sell it for full price.....I got my lil can 'o paint for 1 buck! *YAY!*
So, back to it I went...got all the trim, baseboard, and walls and ceiling taped up - then I started painting....so far - I have everything "cut-in" or "edged" as some folks call it. :) Not bad looking job either- if I do say so myself :)
So, let's see.....I guess I could say that I'm about....oh, 40% done so far....next part,(after my break), is to get out the roller and get 'er done! LOL!
