It be Captain Nemo's Birthday today - me crew be gettin' together to celebrate - his life and our wonderful memories - Happy Birthday Daddy :)
Well - I had wanted to pst a pic or two with this, but me new security on me computer won't let me ( have te' see about that fer later!) - so - instead I will post a song that I think would be fitting -
- I'm sure Captain Nemo is celebrating his Birthday in style :)
Wherever we go, the bluebirds sing
And the flowers bloom
And the grass gets green
It's a curious thing
But it's just our thing
Wherever we go, the bees behave
In the treetops, squirrels smile and wave
It's a curious thing
And it's humbling
Where we go, little glow-worms glow
Little roadrunners run ahead
Gonna tell their friends
Little mice, little men
Get 'em all excited
All invited
HANDS UP
HOLLER BACK HERE
LET'S THROW THIS PARTY IN GEAR
WE BROUGHT THE WELCOME MAT
WHEREVER WE GO, THAT'S WHERE THE PARTY'S AT
HANDS UP
HOLLER BACK NOW
WE DON'T CLAIM ANY KNOW-HOW
WE’RE GIVING GOD ALL THAT
WHEREVER WE GO, THAT'S WHERE THE PARTY'S AT
Wherever we go, the dumb get wise
And the crime rates drop
And the markets rise
It's a curious thing
But it's just our thing
Bullies make nice, crooks repent
And the ozone layer shows improvement
It's a curious thing
And it's humbling
Wherever we're led
All the Living Dead
Wanna leave their Zombie Mob
It's a touching scene when they all come clean
God help us, we just love our job

WHEREVER WE GO, THAT'S WHERE THE PARTY'S AT

High, throw your hands up,
throw your hands up high,
high, throw your hands up,
throw your hands up high
this is a message we spread
bringing life to the dead
this is the gospel expo
follows wherever we go
this is a message we spread
bringing life to the dead
this is a good news expo
follows wherever we go

Valentine's Day - I took my Mum roses - and took Captain Nemo some too - some baby/mini ones - told him how I had taken some to Mum, - I know he would be happy - and she was -
A little behind in school - tricky getting things done around here with having school during the day - but - we're moving along - steady as she goes -
Been redoing - rearranging some of the rooms in the house recently - watching too many of those 'fix up your house' shows with the new hookup we have now.
Speaking of fixing up the house - we all met at Mum and Dad's house and started going through things - There was a leak in the master bath, and when it was addressed, mold was found - black mold - not good - so - it was ripped out, cleaned up, and dealt with. - but - now the bath has no toilet and no sink :( it needs redoing anyway - so - everything will be taken out so work can begin on that
- down to the basement - there was another repair issue there as well - it was dealt with, and we've decided to go through the basement first and get rid of any and all trash - and consolidate as Captain Flint and family will be moving in with Mum - ( before the end of the year is the goal) - we made a good 'dent' in it all, but we'll all be piling back over there to work on the rest this weekend - Being that Captain Nemo was a true pack-rat, I'm sure we'll find some good memories and some good laughs :)
